Our story
Welcome to ReCycles, where we believe in giving bikes a second chance! Our journey began with a few odd bike sales here and there through CLT. Over time, we realised there was a much bigger opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment. That's when the idea for ReCycles was born in 2023.
After months of careful planning and preparation, we proudly launched ReCycles in August 2024. Our mission is to save bikes from going to waste by refurbishing and reusing them, offering low cost bicycles and quality bicycle services for everyone. From toddlers to adults, we provide a wide range of low cost bicycles that have been carefully serviced and restored with new parts to ensure they're as good as new.
We also offer bicycle services including a free bicycle health check, plus repairs and maintenance to keep your bike running smoothly. Whether you're looking for an affordable bike or need expert bicycle services, we're here to help.
We're just getting started, and we have many exciting things planned for the future of ReCycles.

Meet John, our expert bike technician with four years of experience and a wealth of knowledge about all things cycling. John's meticulous attention to detail ensures that every bike we offer is in peak condition and ready for action. Alongside him is his trusty sidekick, Peaty, who brings a touch of charm and a paw of approval to the workshop. Together, they make a fantastic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service. Can i join the ReCycles project?
Absolutely! If you're passionate about bikes and eager to gain hands-on experience, we’d love to have you join our ReCycles project as a volunteer. Whether you're looking to learn more about bicycle mechanics, develop your skills, or contribute to a meaningful cause, you’re welcome to be a part of our volunteer family.
Our workshop and locations
We offer bicycles for sale online and in our stores (The ReUse Warehouse Winsford, The ReUse Warehouse Crewe and Winsford Community Hub). For our bicycle workshops we have two locations which you can visit to arrange repairs or a service:

Alongside our selection of refurbished bikes, we offer a comprehensive array of bike services. Our experienced team is ready assist you with everything from basic tune-ups to advanced maintenance. We also handle crucial repairs, such puncture fixes and gearibration, ensuring your bike stays in prime condition. Basic service
Our basic service includes the following:

•Bolts checked and fastened correctly

•Full safety check of bike with wearable parts checked
•Inner brake cables replaced for safer braking
•Brakes and levers checked and correctly aligned
•Inner gear cables replaced for smoother gear changes
•Gears and levers checked, lubricated and correctly aligned
•Wheels trued (straightened and aligned)
•Tyres checked and inflated to correct pressure
•Pedals and seat post lubricated
•Chain and derailleurs (front and back) cleaned and lubricated
•Wipe down frame, forks and wheels

•Full strip down and thorough clean of bike and parts
•Inner and outer brake cables replaced
•Brakes serviced and set up like new for safe braking

•Brake and gear levers correctly aligned
•Wheels trued (straightened and aligned)
