Community Shop Crewe - ReUse Warehouse Opens 8th September

The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! We're absolutely thrilled to announce the official grand opening of our community shop in Crewe on Monday 8th September. After weeks of soft opening trials and wonderful feedback from the local community, we're ready to open our doors properly and celebrate this exciting milestone with everyone.

We'd be absolutely delighted if you could join us for our ribbon cutting ceremony starting at 10am on 8th September. It's going to be a lovely celebration, and we'll have many friendly faces from across the Changing Lives Together family there to welcome you, help you explore the shop, and answer any questions you might have about our work and services.

This isn't your ordinary charity shop, we're a community shop in Crewe

We want to be absolutely clear from the start - what we've created in Crewe isn't just another charity shop. We've built something much more comprehensive for the Crewe community. Yes, we have beautifully restored reuse items and appliances, but we also stock carefully selected new furniture and appliances, offer professional bicycle workshop services, and will soon have a full grocery section. We're combining the best of sustainable shopping with convenience and quality.

Our community shop approach means we're here to serve everyone in Crewe - whether you're looking for budget friendly furniture, need your bicycle repaired, want quality paint at fantastic prices, or simply wanting to stock your cupboards. We're not just asking for donations; we're providing genuine value, choice, and services that the community actually needs and wants.

We are also offering a new community group called the Warm Welcome Group Crewe. This will be a safe space in our community room where people can have a hot meal, enjoy socialising with others and participate in fun activities, however there is no pressure to join in the activities.

Starting 1st September - A Warm Welcome Group

For just £2, you can enjoy a lovely light lunch in warm, welcoming surroundings. But really, it's about so much more than the food, it's about finding your people and having somewhere you truly belong. We change our activities each week to keep things interesting and give everyone something to look forward to. You might find us enjoying a game of bingo, listening to talented local performers, Testing our knowledge with quizzes or celebrating the seasons with themed gatherings.
