About the Scheme
Our Buddy & Befriending Scheme connects individuals who are feeling lonely and/or isolated in our communities throughout Cheshire. Using trained volunteers who offer regular companionship, conversation, and support through meaningful weekly conversation as well as weekly Warm Welcome Groups to encourage the reduction in social isolation.
Funding helps us to fully operate our scheme but essentially it is to ensure that no one feels forgotten or alone. Making that interaction, that connection to improve health and wellbeing.
